La Tahá

It is situated in the central part of the Alpujarra. We can find a huge variety of landscapes here because some rivers go through it. They are Trevelez, Guadalfeo and Poqueira.
The tahas where administrative divisions in which the territory was divided during the Moorish stay.

La tahá has many urban nucleus. The most populated are Pitres that is the "capital" and Capilerilla. Also, we can find an abandoned village called Aylacar, that has been empty since the XVIII century.
